Mentorship
Why should you have a mentor?
"A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself" - Oprah Winfrey
Learning UX through bootcamps or through courses is great, but there's a huge difference between assignments for classes and work you would do in the real world. I teach you any UX topic you wish to dig deep into and help you to apply these skills to real-world scenarios so that you can confidently understand and execute UX tasks.
My Process
What you can expect
01
Schedule a Session
Schedule a 30 minute or 1 hour session with me through the calendar below.
02
Choose any Topic
Let me know which UX topic you'd like to cover so that I can prepare materials that would be useful for you.
03
Meet
We'll meet for our scheduled time, and you can run the meeting anyway you want. I'm an open book ready to share with you all my experiences and materials that will help you.
04
Materials and Assignments
Depending on the topics we cover, I can equip you with materials that will help you accomplish the task, and assign you with a real-world scenario to give you the practice you need to feel confident.
I'm Mallory.
Your next mentor.
I help students understand UX principles, processes, but most importantly real-world execution.
Testimonials
"Mallory is a 5 star mentor and is very knowledgeable and professional in the UX Industry. She not only helped me with creating Client and Consumer interview questions, but how to take those interview answers to create the best user personas and then create user stories to help solve design complications. She also helped me establish ways to effectively user test and how I should conduct my A/B testing. I highly recommend Mallory not only as a mentor, but as a connection and a friend!"

UX/UI Designer / Developer
"In one session, Mallory Kim helped me plan out the research part of a ux portfolio project. she gave me the clarity and confidence to take action. Without her, I would have spent days reading about research and spinning in circles. I can't wait to work with her again!"
